Billington, Lance - Lance passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his beloved wife Elaine, and his dear family on September 4, 2020. Lance was a loving father to Kim, Wayne (Clara), stepfather to Rob (Stephanie), and Jason (Sheri).
He was a beloved grandfather to Amanda (Jazz), Olivia, Aidan, Alexis, Brody, Addisyn, Lincoln, Jean Paul, and great grandfather to Knoxx.
Lance’s happiest days were spent travelling, golfing, and then sharing stories and laughter with his longtime friends at the local pub. His Welsh roots gave him his love of life, family, and his endearing spirit. He will be truly missed.
Special thanks to Southlake Regional Hospital and SRT nurse, Magali Kaplan, for their care and support.
A donation, if wished, can be made to the Hospital in Lance’s memory. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I’ll miss you gramps...I’ll miss your hugs & sitting on the couch with you, I’ll miss stealing your sweaters & you getting mad for taking too long to return them, I’ll miss the way you would call me and ask me how “Kanoxx” is doing because you thought it was funny to pronounce his name like that, I’ll miss all your advice, I’ll miss the way you never wanted presents for Christmas and would get mad every time you still got one...because really all you wanted was to spend time with your family. I’ll miss your big smile, contagious laughter & of course your sense of humour. I love you always, rest easy Grandpa.

Dear Elaine and Family.

We love Lance like a brother and will miss him dearly. He was always so kind and we shared really great times with him, including Justin and Whitney's Jamaican Destination Wedding in November, 2019.
Much love,
Anne and Jim

I am sending my heartfelt love, thoughts and prayers to my dear friend Elaine and families. Lance will be greatly missed. My fondest memories with Lance were going to the PUB and golfing. Lance always smiled even when his golf ball did not cooperate. Lance was like a Ray of Sunshine, he would light up a room when he walked in. I will always remember his loving and caring ways for Elaine and others that were part of his life. I will always remember his delightful smile. You will forever be in our hearts.

You will never be forgotten.

Love your friend,

Kathy Hands
