Passed away peacefully in Holland Landing on February 5, 2019 in his 83rd year. Loving husband of Ellie Romanovitch. Beloved father of Lisa (Greg), Debbie and Kenny. Proud grandfather of Drew and Devin. He will be sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Leonard enjoyed fishing with his granddaughters and was an excellent woodworker. Leonard had an insatiable desire for gardening. His garden was his pride and joy, he spent many hours happily working outside. Visitation will take place at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket, on Friday, February 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home on Friday, February 8 at 1 p.m. Followed by a reception upstairs. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
