May 29, 1949 - July 13, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie (Les) Norman Zaiser on July 13, 2023 in his 74th year at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
Les will be missed greatly by his loving partner of 16 years Karen Bradshaw, her family Shawna (Dan), Ryan (Nicole), Katelyn, Graeme (Nicolle) and his grandchildren Peyton, Quynn, Bently, Liliana, Ayden, Aubriella, Orylyn and James who joyfully referred to him as Poppa Les. Great friend to Steve Warren.
Les was involved in bringing warmblood equines to Canada from Europe, was a professor at Humber College Equine Centre, was a certified pilot, a registered Real Estate Agent and an accomplished musician with the most beautiful voice. Les's happy place was being outdoors and loved being on the water and fishing in his free time.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation in Les's memory.
Celebration of life for Les will be on Sunday September 10th from 2 to 4 pm at Joia on Main, 497 Timothy Street, Newmarket.
