Lois Dorothy Latour (Campbell) 1944 to 2023
Remembered as a smile that brightened a room, a kind word when needed, Lois Dorothy Latour, age 78, of Angus, Ontario, passed away at Woods Park, Barrie, Ontario on Sunday, October 22, 2023, peacefully in her sleep. Lois was born December 1, 1944, in North Bay, Ontario to Dorothy and Edgar Campbell and moved to Toronto, Ontario at the age of 18.
Lois is predeceased by her loving “man of the world” husband, Edward “Ted” Latour, her handsome son, Ryan Latour and grandson, Jesse Watson. She is survived by and will be missed beyond words by her two remaining children, Vicki (Jim Watson), Jeff (Nikki) and her grandchildren, Meaghan, Kelsey, Martin, Rebecca, and Sarah (Brian Lopes) as well as her great grandchildren, Olivia and Eleanor, her brother Orval (Sally), brother and sister in laws and many nieces and nephews as well as her cherished friends.
She will join her brother Cecil, sisters, Marlene, and Debbie to continue to watch over her family.
Funeral services will take place at Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street, S, Newmarket, ON, Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Visitation will be 11:00pm to 1:00pm service 1:00pm followed by a small luncheon in the upper-level hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation can be made.
