Obituary for Louis "Lou" Sebastiano
SEBASTIANO, Louis Anthony. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lou Sebastiano at Humber River Hospital on Feb. 27, 2021 at the age of 80.
He will forever be remembered by his partner and soulmate, Freda; his former wife, Linda; Lou’s children, Kent (Rebecca) and Craig; Freda’s children, Christopher, Kasia (Glen), Walter, and Elizabeth, as loving “Nonno” to Andrew, Raquel, Ethan, Maleah and Landon; nieces Elvira and Paola, and nephew Ernesto; aunt Louise; and cousins John (Alexandra) and Susan (Paul), their children and grandchildren. Lou is predeceased by his daughter, Lisa; sister, Nicolina; and uncle, Frank.
He immigrated to Canada in the 1950s. Shortly thereafter, Lou lived with his aunt and uncle in East York. He worked many jobs before settling into real estate. Lou started his own brokerage (Sherlock Homes) and co-owned another brokerage during his career. He enjoyed bowling, watching hockey, baseball, golf, and horse racing. He was a kind and gentle soul and loved to be with his friends and family.
A private family service will be held at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home on Saturday March 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. For those unable to attend due to COVID 19 restrictions, below is a link to watch the service.
