Peacefully passed away in her 87th year on Thursday February 23, 2023, with family by her side. Yvette had a full and large life. She was the eldest daughter of 10 children born to the Bujold family of Robertville, New Brunswick. Opportunity brought the Bujold family to Toronto where Yvette began her life as a mother. Having 7 children of her own, and eventually 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Her home became Keswick, Ontario and was always filled with love, laughter, and country music. She had a passion for family and enjoyed bowling leagues, square dancing, cards, and travel, adventuring across North America with her husband and their RV. Yvette faced great grief, losing many loved ones and close family members. Alzheimer’s came and stole her zest for life. Gratefully, she remained blissfully oblivious to the effects of the disease and found contentment in the simpler things, with a longing for the way that life use to be. A Celebration of Life is being held Friday March 3, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at River Drive Park Community Centre: 20 Oak Ave., East Gwillimbury, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, if desired, a memorial donation can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
