Mavis Sarah Hales
December 31, 1929 – August 21, 2021
Our family tree has lost an important branch with the passing of our beloved Mom, Mavis Hales, in her 92nd year of life. Mom was predeceased by her cherished husband of 67 years, Gerald. She will always remain in the hearts of her four daughters, Susan (Matt), Beverley (Kirk), Jill and Sara (William) and grandchildren, Lisa (Clarence), Krysta (Kyle), Peter (Lisa), James, Alex and Logan. She was a great-grandmother to Ryan, Lana, Stella, Simone and a future grandbaby arriving in December.
Mom will always be remembered for her devotion to family, impeccable sense of fashion, love of The Shopping Channel and loyalty to Toronto sports teams, especially the Blue Jays.
Many thanks go to doctor Kassam and to the wonderful nurses in the MACU ward at Southlake Regional Health Centre.
A private celebration of life will be held by the family at future date. To honour Mom’s memory, we ask everyone to be kind to each other and if you can spare it, a donation to the Southlake Foundation in Mom’s name would be appreciated by the family.
