Norma Elaine Richardson
Passed away peacefully at Margaret Bahen Hospice (Newmarket) on January 21, 2019 at 91 years of age surrounded by family love. Now reunited with her loving husband and best friend Ron (d. March 2007). Devoted mother to Elaine and Paul and loving mother-in-law of Dennis Culnan and Wendy Richardson. Dearly missed by her grandchildren Stephanie (Ryan) & Victoria Culnan, Daniel (Alex) & Andrew Richardson and Matthew & Curtis Patterson. Beloved sister of Lorna Heathcote and Aunt and friend to many.
Norma and Ron immigrated from England in 1951. They were founders of the Church of St. Stephen, Toronto and she was a founding member of Humber River Regional Hospital Volunteer Association. Norma loved knitting, crocheting, reading, solitaire and sharing smiles and laughs. Norma was loved by all and made everyone feel special with her warm hugs and loving manner.
Special thanks to the Barton Retirement Residence staff & community for a wonderful 11 years, as well as Southlake Hospital, Margaret Bahen Hospice staff and Dr Yuen for exceptional care.
Visitation at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S, Newmarket on Friday January 25th from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral service will take place Saturday January 26th at 11am at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 227 Church Street, Newmarket.
