Our family met George at Fit City where we played squash about 8 years ago. George quickly became a friend as he was outgoing, friendly and engaging. He loved to watch our daughter Nicole play squash and came to several of her tournaments always introducing himself as "her biggest fan" and bragging that at the club "she made grown men cry". We enjoyed George's company tremendously and enjoyed our lunches and drinks after the matches. He was kind, always upbeat and expressed a genuine interest in others. We offer his family our sincere and heartfelt condolences for their loss.

Mary Louise, Kim, David, Steven and family, we are terribly sorry to hear about the passing of George. May our condolences bring you consolation and peace during this painful time. George was one of the most positive persons I have ever met. The glass was alway full and he lived life his way. Always optimistic, positive and smiling, he genuinely liked people. Wish we could be with you on the 18th to celebrate with you for George. Larry and Donna Schuweiler

Suzanne and Rodney Darwin.. George, a fairly recently adopted friend of ours! We met at the Crows Nest in about 2015 ish. We have had some great conversations, many good laughs, travel stories, and Newmarket history banter over these few years. George is, and will be missed by us, and many more great folks he assembled with. Blessings on his family.
