Rick (Ritchie) Graydon Hay, age 68, passed away peacefully in Princess Margaret Hospital February 25th, 2020 with his loving partner Fiona by his side. In the days leading up to his passing he was surrounded by family and loved ones.

An accomplished horseback rider, Rick lived his passion and competed well into his 60’s throughout Ontario and in Ocala, Florida.

He was a complex man but he undoubtedly found joy in life's simplicities; a day spent at the barn with his trusty steed Monty, a family dinner, or taking in the nature and wildlife that surrounded him. One of Rick's most notable qualities was his sheer love of making joyful, memorable moments for his Family – he was a master of Christmas celebrations and family vacations; materializing the ideals of his heart and mind. The casual moments of watching and quoting goofy eighties/nineties movies, the repeated clichéd turns of phrase, and the earnest sentimentality and love that came with all of it will be intensely missed.

Rick will live on in the hearts of his partner Fiona, children Callum and Jennifer, brother Phil, niece Lindsay, nephew Chadwick, and numerous extended family and friends.
