It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Roy Burling on Monday, February 11, 2019 at the Margaret Bahen Hospice with his family by his side. Loving husband and best friend of Lisa (nee Velma) for 56 years. Loving Father to Rob (Patricia). Loving Papa to Sarah (Jay) and Jake (Alessandra). Loving Step Papa to Nicole and Christopher (Olivia). Loving Great Papa to Keaton and Kinsley. Brother of Carol Preston (Ray). Special thanks to Dr. Rana, Dr. So, Chandra, Robert and the love and support from our friends and family, and all of the staff at the Margaret Bahen Hospice.
At Robert’s request there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at the Aurora Legion, 105 Industrial Pkwy N., Aurora, on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 1 p.m. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Stronach Cancer Centre or the Margaret Bahen Hospice.
