Robert Ray Forbes
Bob passed away peacefully in his 65th year at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on December 11, 2022. He spent most of his life on the family farm in Tecumseh Township south of Beeton. In 2016 he moved to the Renoir Retirement home in Newmarket due to his medical conditions. He is survived by his brother William James (Jim) Forbes and his wife Linley of Newmarket and their daughters; Allauren Forbes (Nick Anselmini) and Jamie Forbes (Daniel Daigle). Also his sister Susan Furlong (Ken) of Durham and their children Sarah Brown (Eric), Ian Furlong (Denise) and Curtis Furlong. He is fondly remembered by his great nieces and nephew, Jessica and Kaitlyn Brown and Maggie and Marshall Furlong as well as cousins Shirley Peavoy (Bob) and John Miller (Rita). Predeceased by his parents George and Marion Forbes, brother Donald and infant brother. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Trinity Cemetery Beeton, in the spring.
