Obituary for Robert Burt Williamson
WILLIAMSON, Robert (Bob) Burt passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Saturday July 24, 2021 at 86 years of age.
Loving husband of 58 years to Donna (nee Swinbourne), loving father to Sara Slater (Harold), dear cousin to David Crockett, and will be missed by his extended Swinbourne family. He now joins his lifelong friends, Ken, Jack and Garry.
Bob was born January 5, 1935, in Toronto. Employed 30 years with International Harvester and retired from the City of Toronto.
Bob loved spending time at his cottage on Star Lake since 1967, and has made many lasting friendships there.
Special thanks to the neighbours on Sparrow Road for all their support and help.
Cremation has taken place. The family will have a private interment at Humphrey-Rosseau Cemetery and will hold a celebration of life for family and friends at a later date.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bob can be made to Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary or charity of your choice.
