He passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Margaret Bahen Hospice on Sunday, August 4, 2019 in his 88th year. He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Elean Irwin nee (Cook), his sisters Joyce, Kay and brothers Ed and Bud (Gordon) Irwin. Survived by his loving wife Anne nee (Alcorn), sister Ileen (Dick Teekens), brothers Doug and Don Irwin and children, Liz and Jeff Christensen, Pat and Mike Hortin and Andrew and Heidi Irwin. Proud grandad of Ross and Claire Christensen, Jared and Sara Irwin. Brother-in-law of Bob (Ena deceased), Ian (Sue), Bruce (Jenny), Wendy (deceased) (Terry) and Deb (deceased). Uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews in Australia.
At Ross’ request no service will be held, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Margaret Bahen Hospice, Newmarket.
