Obituary for Sean Francis Lennon

Sean Francis Lennon

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Sean Francis Lennon at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario, on Monday April 19th, 2021. He was taken from us far too soon at the age of 36.

Dearest son of Darcy Lennon and Nancy Gorman Lennon and beloved brother to Aleyah-Erin Lennon, Sean also had strong bonds with his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends as well as a close relationship with his beloved Grandmother, Helen Lennon.

Sean started his career in the hospitality management business, and later in the retail logistics field. He was an avid musician, golfer, and hockey player.

Sean took great delight in organizing informal card games, golf tournaments, and other activities and he had a near-perfect attendance record at family gatherings. He was known for his creativity, thoughtfulness and sensitivity – and his sense of humour was legendary!

Sean was truly one of a kind and will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. Our hearts are broken, but the depth of love Sean cultivated will carry us through together.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that memorial donations be made in Sean’s honour to the following two charities that encompass his passion and values: The Canadian Junior Golf Association or Metropolitan Action Committee on Violence Against Women and Children.

A service to honour Sean has been arranged for this Saturday April 24th at 12:55pm with the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home in Newmarket. We welcome everyone to attend virtually due to the current restrictions. Click Here to Watch the Service
