Obituary for Doreen Budden-Decker
Budden-Decker, Doreen passed away peacefully at Mississauga Trillium Hospital on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in her 63rd year, with her daughter, son, family and friends by her side.
Doreen was the beloved daughter of Olga Budden and the late Francis Budden. Proud Mother of Tanya Campbell (Ashley) and John Decker (Colleen). Cherished Nana of Savannah, Nathan and Ella Decker. Loving Sister of Vaden( Shirley), Barry (Janice), Perry (Marion), Elaine, Beverly and the late Cindy Budden.
Doreen was a loving and caring woman who was always there for her family, friends and co-workers. She was very outgoing with her "down home" personality, a story teller, a listener, and a very warm compassionate lady. Doreen was known to be a very dedicated and hardworking employee. She was well liked by fellow co-workers and customers having worked for many years at Carlton Cards and Walmart. Everyone was drawn to her because her beautiful smile would light up a room. She loved to dance, crochet, go for walks near the lake and had a flair for fashion. She loved getting away with her best friends, going for lunches with her son, spending time at her daughter's country home but most of all she loved her grandchildren's birthday parties and watching them open their gifts.
Doreen's Family will hold many joyful memories close to their hearts and they are thankful that now she is at peace as she reunites in heaven with her beloved sister Cindy and her best friend Nancy.
Visitation for Doreen will be held at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket, on Monday, January 14, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service will be on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.
Followed by a reception from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
