Obituary for Sharon Ann O'Grady
A woman who was fiercely loved, Sharon Ann O'Grady, 77, of Newmarket, Ontario, died on December 7th, 2023, at home following her year-long battle with cancer.
She was born in Kirkland Lake on May 23rd, 1946, to Timothy and Mary O'Grady.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents, and her brother Thomas O'Grady, and will be laid to rest alongside them at St. Edmund's Cemetery in Tweed, Ontario.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Timothy Clague, her children Daniel and wife Deitra, Kathleen, James and partner Lindsay, as well as her grandchildren Ronan and Fiona Clague. She is also survived by her sister Maureen and husband Joop van Pinxteren, her sister Teresa and husband Chris Dunlop, her brother's widow Joan O'Grady, and numerous cousins. nieces and nephews.
The wake for Sharon will be held on Wednesday December 13th at Roadhouse and Rose, 157 Main St. South, Newmarket. Visitation is from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday December 14th at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 17955 Leslie St. Newmarket . In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stronach Cancer Center at Southlake would be greatly appreciated.
