1960 - 2021
After a short battle with cancer, Colleen passed away in the early hours of Monday, October 11, 2021 at home in Newmarket. Predeceased by her dearly loved husband, Ron, who died in 2015, and her sister Laurie and brother-in-law Ray Haines, Colleen is survived by her cherished son Kyle, her father Richard Yerburgh (late Patricia), her sister Judy Yerburgh-Wilson (late Craig), and nephews Laine and Hayden. As a long-time and respected employee of Goldblatt Partners, LLP, Colleen’s loyalty, knowledge, and keen attention to detail will be greatly missed. Colleen had a genuine interest in people. Her warmth, generosity, and kindness will be long remembered by the many friends and neighbours privileged to have been part of her life. Memorial visitation will take place at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, on Monday, October 25, 2021, from 10-11 a.m. A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Newmarket Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions on capacity, you must R.S.V.P. to attend these services at 905.895.6631 or rsvp@roadhouseandrose.com. If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
