Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 90 years of age. Loving husband of the late Maria Varone (nee Ferrini). Beloved father of Mena (Meighen) and Tony (Helena). Cherished Nonno of Nevio, Niall, Anthony, and Philip. Bisnonno to Stefano, Sara, and James Philip. Son of the late Filomena (nee Diglio) and Giovanni. Predeceased by siblings Francesca (Marcello), Rosa (Domenico), Theresa, Vincenzo (Maria), Antonio and brother-in-law Giuseppe. Survived by sister Maria. A visitation will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home on Friday, January 20 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held in the chapel on Saturday, January 21 at 11 a.m. followed by entombment at Prospect Cemetery in Toronto. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Chats for seniors, Society of Sharing Supporting Seniors, Villa Charities, Costi Immigrant Services or a charity of your choice for seniors.
