Obituary for Sylvia Veronica Carroll (Ansell)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia Veronica Carroll on June 27 2022 at 87 years of age with her daughter by her side. Beloved Wife of (late) Russel Carroll. Cherished Mother of Susan Irwin (George) and (late) David Carroll. Loving Grandmother of Kelly, Kevin (Ashley), Chris (Sara). Proud Great Grandmother of Emma, Elissa, Connor, Wyatt and Evelyn. Dear sister of Valerie (Bruce). Devoted friend of Enid Daniels.
Sylvia will be deeply missed by many family, friends, neighbors, caregivers, even students she taught many years ago that have kept in touch over the past 50 years.
Her smile, kind heart, love of animals, her bond with family, her strength, determination and perseverance during challenges in her life are an inspiration to all who knew her.
No service will be held at Sylvia's request, but donations in her honor can be made to MS Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice if so desired.
Our family would like to thank all the wonderful care providers: live in caregivers that stayed in Sylvia's home, March of Dimes, Bayshore, Paramed (Wendy) and Dr. Harold Yuen that have provided Sylvia with such wonderful care and made it possible to respect Sylvia's wishes and allow her to stay in her home over the years. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
