Obituary for Therese Anne MacLean (MacLean)
MACLEAN - Therese Anne
(November 20, 1953 - March 28th, 2021)
It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of the legendary Therese Maclean on Sunday March 28th, 2021 at the age of 67 in Newmarket, Ontario after fighting her toughest battle yet. Beloved mother to Cameron, and Spencer (Brianne), forever "Nanny Bubbles" to grandchildren Brock and Holly, older sister to Suzanne (Alan) and dear friend to Rein. Predeceased by her younger brother, Ian and mother, Nancy Featherstone. Therese was a life long worker who excelled in careers supervising new home construction, and as a civilian member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Most recently, Therese worked as a member of the Ontario Public Service and will be sorely missed by all of her former colleagues. Therese’s love for her cherished dogs “Charlie” and “Bailey” serve as a true example of her care and compassion for all things. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Therese's name to the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket.
