February 10th, 1930 to April 9th, 2023
Valerie (nee Emms) born in Norwich, Norfolk, England, passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Eugene "Dean", whom she missed dearly. Sister of Walter. Predeceased by her family Christine, Phyllis, Douglas, Olive, Grace, Joyce, Val and William. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and her long-time friends. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Amica Newmarket and nurses of Southlake. If you wish to honour Valerie’s memory, donations to Southlake Foundation or The War Amps of Canada are greatly appreciated. To respect Valerie’s wishes, there will not be a formal service at this time, however raise a glass or cup of your favourite beverage in honour of Valerie, now dancing among the stars.
