Obituary for Wendy Joan Thompson
Wendy passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on July 28 in her 75 th year.
Survived by sisters Penny and Elizabeth, brother in law Al, Nephew Mark ( Christine) , Niece Marcia ( Peter) and grandnieces and grandnephew Piper, Hunter, Alastair and Lily.
Wendy was predeceased by her twin brother Wayne , Father Norman “ Tommy” and Mother Lily.
Wendy enjoyed her life time career as a Dental Health assistant with York Region Public Health .
In retirement Wendy followed her beloved Blue Jays with passion. She enjoyed travel , golf, cruising , cottaging and sunny winter days in Florida with her good friend Mary Lou.
The family would like to thank the the staff at Southlake as well as Dr Elizabeth Russell for their kind, compassionate, professional , services.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a yet to be determined date and place in the fall.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
