Obituary for William Alfred Lyall
Lyall, William Alfred – November 11, 1924 – October 1, 2021 - Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Friday, October 1, 2021 in his 97th year. Loving husband of the late Anne (nee Shea) and the late Mary (nee Duggiud). Father of Catherine Lyall, Mary Lyall (deceased), Brenda Zakowski (Richard) and William Lyall Jr. Grandfather of Laura, Matthew, Karly and Larissa. Great grandfather of Joshua, Lucas and Emma. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. Son of the Late Alexander and Catherine (nee MacLannen). Brother of Max, Paul and Jim.
Enlisted on HMS Centurian as a stoker fireman and served 4 years HMRN with honorable discharge. Employed for 22 years with MTCO central division as a draftsman. Special thanks to the SLRH – RNU for all their special care. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and Southlake Regional Health Centre.
