Obituary for Elizabeth Leonie Gaudet

Elizabeth Leonie Gaudet
Gaudet, Elizabeth (nee LeBlanc)
1917 – 2015
It is with great sadness that we say a final good-bye to our dear mother who leaves us in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband, Hector (2006), and her siblings Corinne (Andre), Marie (Marcel), Antoinette (Alyre), Lorraine (Fred), and Dollard (Eliane), she will be forever missed by her children, Pat (Tony), Annie (Rick) and Paul (Maureen), her 7 grandchildren, her 6 great-grand children, and her many nieces and nephews. She was known by all who knew her for her energy, independence, resourcefulness, and for her love of her vegetable garden and cards (200!). The family would like to thank the nurses and PSWs at Bradford Valley Long Term Care Residence and the Alzheimer’s Society for their heartfelt care and support. Friends and family may call at Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S, Newmarket, ON, on Friday, February 20th, from 6-9pm; also at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 Chemin la Vallee, Memramcook, N.B. on Tuesday, February 24th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas de Memramcook church, St. Joseph, N.B. at 11am on Wednesday, February 25th. Interment will be held at St. Thomas de Memramcook cemetery, St. Joseph, N.B. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
