STOKES, Richard Lawrence – Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Sunday April 12, 2015 at 62 years of age. Loving son of the late Don and Jean Stokes. Beloved brother of Helen (Wayne), George, John, Gary (Melanie), Glenn, Sheila, Nancy (Laz) and the late Mary (Jim). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and best friend Craig of 58 years. Special thanks to Dr. Baguio and his staff and the nurses in the Palliative Care Unit for their care. At Rick’s request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Rick's Life will take place at the Newmarket Legion, 707 Srigley St, Newmarket, on Saturday May 23, 2015, on the Lounge north side of the Legion, 2pm till 7pm..
