Obituary for Kenneth Gordon Dee

Kenneth Gordon Dee
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ken Dee, beloved husband of Carol, devoted father of Alexandra and Jonathan (Kathleen) and loving grandpa of William and Betty Dee. He is also survived by his siblings Gary, Peter (Debbie) and Sandra (Fred) Webb. Ken will be remembered for his zest for life, his compassion and his love of athletic pursuits, traditionally followed by celebratory drinks and lively conversation. He also loved a good road trip. He spent some of his happiest days in Arizona, cycling with friends and running through the desert, but was most content and proud when surrounded by his children and their families. There will be a Celebration of Life at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home in Newmarket on Saturday, September 5th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. If you so wish, donations can be made to a local women's shelter or to the Southlake Regional Health Centre. We are most grateful for the care at the Stronach Cancer Centre and the palliative team at Southlake. - See more at: http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/thestar/obituary.aspx?pid=175685416#sthash.gQIU61Q1.dpuf
