Brian Carl Spurrier passed away peacefully at his home in Uxbridge on Friday November 6th, 2015 at 71 years old. He is survived by his two sons Ryan and Chris, by their Mother, also by Granddaughters Olive and Maisie.

Brian was born in Toronto and in his childhood enjoyed summers at the cottage in Bobcaygeon swimming in the canal. As a young man, he played bridge and went to Toronto Argonauts games while attending Ryerson. Brian later married and became the proud father of two sons who he taught how to swim, play baseball, chess and cribbage. After retiring in his later years, he always enjoyed talking hockey with his sons and spending time with his Granddaughters. He will be dearly missed.

A service will be held at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home in Newmarket, on Saturday November 14th at 2:00pm, followed by a reception.
