James Arthur Paterson
Passed into the loving embrace of Jesus Christ at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Friday, June 3, 2016 in his 68th year. Loving husband of Heather (nee Forfar) for 42 years. Beloved father of Bryan (Shyla) and Geoff (Jenny-Lynn). Proud papa to Dillon, Larissa, Judah and Micah. Brother of Alex (Carole) and Sue (George). Dear son of Kathleen and the late Edward Paterson. Jim earned a BA degree at York University before embarking on a long and successful career in the insurance and computer industry. Mission trips to Uganda, Haiti and India were highlights in Jim's life. Avid reader and lover of music, the latest technical gadgets and relaxing on the beaches of Florida. Special thanks to the caring staff at the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre.

Friends and family will be welcomed at the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. South, Newmarket on Friday, June 10th.Visitation will begin at 1pm followed by a celebration of life service at 2pm in the chapel. Reception to follow in the upstairs lounge. Memorial donations can be made to High Adventure Gospel Communications Ministries or the Canadian Cancer Society.
