The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jeanne Gatti can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Terry Vollum

Aunt Jeanne was my godmother. And as the godparent in the Christian tradition, I suppose I always assumed she would undertake parental responsibilities once my own parents departed this astral plane. I was a relatively young pup – just 51-years-old when my own mother died in 1997. And that’s when I suggested to Aunt Jeanne that she was now totally responsible for me and that I should be included in her Last Will & Testament. She agreed – and promised to leave me a shiny nickel. We laughed and kidded about that for years. But now it’s time to collect. I’ll be in Newmarket this Thursday evening and I’m not leaving without my rightful inheritance. That nickel could be worth as much as six or seven cents in a few years. I have always loved you, Jeanne. Although far too often it was from a distance and way too many years between visits. But that’s how families are sometimes. Regardless, that shiny nickel is mine – and I aim to collect. Terry Vollum (Nancy too)
