GIZZIE, Alexander “Alex” – Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Tuesday December 2, 2014 in his 69th year. Loving husband of Pat and beloved father of Matthew Alexander Gizzie and Maria Kathleen Gizzie. Son of the late Frederick and Mary. Brother of Margaret, Janet, Norma, May, Fred and the late Betty, Anna, Robert and Michael. Alex was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Navy and a long-time employee of Bombardier Aerospace (Dehavilland) for 31 years. Alex was a steadfast and caring man whose family meant the world to him. Pat, Matthew and Maria would like to send a special thank you to all of our friends, co-workers and family for their love and support. Family and Friends are invited to Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street, South, Newmarket for visitation on Friday December 5, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. John Chrysostom Church, 432 Ontario Street, Newmarket on Saturday December 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception in the Parish Hall.
