The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Catherine Gleave can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Liz was a great Mom!

I was a teenager when I met Mrs. Gleave (didn't call her Liz until many years later, that's what we did).  A friend of Jenni's, I lived around the corner and went to highschool with Jenni.  I remember a house joyfully full of dogs and cats.  Two St. Bernards, Olaf and Fred, both rescues, Duchess (who looked like a Newfoundland), plus an assortment of cats (Blackie and ?).  I remember seeing LIz, and Jenni, walking them all (cats included) to the ravine.  Liz was a sweet, kind, soft-spoken woman.  Easy-going, always with a smile and a laugh.  I remember being invited over to 'high tea' with the family.  And driving to York University with her and Jenni for a few years.  A genuine, lovely woman, who continued to know me as "Snork" even up until present-day.  I just lost my Mom three months ago, so I know what Jenni and Diane are going through.  My heart goes out to them.  Liz was a great Mom.
