(1 Thessalonians 4:13) “We do not grieve like the rest of mankind who have no hope.” Brian was a very kind, gracious and compassionate man. He also had a great sense of humour which often followed a straight face. He was also an avid golfer, you could often find him standing on the curb practicing shots from across the sheet. Plastic white balls would be scattered on his lawn and inbetween Lydia’s flower bed. I would compliment his style – to which he would reply with a grin – “Yeah, but not as good as Lydia’s!” As a Christian, I know I will see you again Brian, and if there are any fabulous, unbelievable sparkling golf courses up there, I challenge you to a game! (1 Corinthians 2:9) “…eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” You’ve got a head start Brian… so start practicing - see you again!
