Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday March 16, 2015 at MacKenzie Health Centre. Beloved husband of Jessie (nee Urwin) and the late Lorraine (nee Campbell). Dear father of Dean Barber (Jane), Jill Bowdery (Wayne), Dawn Erhardt (Robert), Jody Barber (Frank), Jaye Barber (Maria), Jana Aucoin (Bernie) and Dale Barber (Alan). Stepfather to Bill Kirby (Lois), Leanne Kirby, Ginny Cotteril (late Brian). Proud Papa and Great Big Papa to many. Survived by his sister Madeline Nichols (the late Keith) and the late Kathleen Foskett (William) and the late Ronald (Dorothy) Barber. Dave was an active member in the Newmarket Seniors, and dedicated director and teacher of Bridge. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street, South, Newmarket for visitation on Saturday March 21, 2015 from 1-3 p.m. followed by a funeral service in chapel at 3 p.m. Private family interment at Westminster Cemetery, Toronto.
