Condolence From: Theresa R & Paul R Wharton
Condolence: Dear Theresa & the whole Murphy Family:
Our sincere condolences & deep sympathy on the loss of dear Ron! He will be sadly missed! But there should be Joy in celebrating a full, meaningful & fruitful life well lived. Besides his own family, Ron has touched many lives throughout the years with 3 sets of Parishioners, sports & work colleagues, multiple unknown acquaintances & with his Brother Knights Of Columbus as a Founding Member of St. Thomas of Villanova Council. He will be sorely missed for his ever present devotion, kindness, humour, dedication & deep Faith in his Christian values. We shall not see his like again. We feel both honoured & humbled to have known Ron throughout these many years. As St Paul wrote: he has fought the good fight, he has run the race, he has reaped his reward. In biblical terms, he was truly "a Gentle Man"! Requiescat in Pace! May God's "Amazing Grace" be with you all during the difficult days ahead. Love, Blessings & Hugs.
Theresa R [C W G] & Paul R Wharton [K of C]

Condolence: A kind man, gentle and exuding love - and with a great love for the Scriptures. If Ron saw me in church he always went out of his way to come and greet me. My condolences to Theresa and all the family.

Condolence: Mr. Murphy - what a sweetie. He never seemed to notice me when he was driving his car - he was always looking straight ahead like he was wearing horse blinders. I knew he was on a mission though - off to church or to see Mrs. Murphy. He was always coming and going. But when we did encounter each other he would stop for a brief conversation, and when those occurrences happened at church it was because he was stopping by the St. Vincent de Paul box to give a donation, and answer inquiries about how Mrs. Murphy was doing. It was comforting to know that he was there, up the street, and we could reach him generally whenever we wanted. It is a very sad time for sure for the Murphy family and for our community. Yes, our sweet Mr. Murphy will be deeply missed. Love and prayers. Kathy

Condolence: Farewell to my great friend of 74 years. I always enjoyed meeting up with Ron, particularly in our later years when we would chat over a cup of coffee after mass on Sundays. The dynamics of Morton Avenue have once again changed as another of our original co-op family members passes on. I send my condolences to Theresa and her children. Ron was a very personable, gentle, intelligent man with a wonderful sense of humour, and who was admired for his tremendous faith and his devotion to his family. He will most definitely be missed by me and the entire Kelly family. Hugs and prayers. Love, Frank.
