John and I started Kindergarden in Shelburne many years ago.  We went all the way through to grade 12.  John had the smarts and was a very good listener.  We had some life experiences when shared a room at a boarding house on Madison Ave.  John met and married Donna and we kind of drifted apart as our life styles changed with that blessed event.  However, in November 1982 I needed John's help and he was there to guide me in he right direction.  We became closer from then on, talking quite regularily about lifes challenges and how we did or were going to deal with them.  He had a very calming way about him.  He accomplished much in his life and helped many.  He loved his boat and the times that he and Donna spent on it. He was special person with a big heart
