Obituary for Karen Louise Legge (Goring)

LEGGE, Karen Louise (nee Goring) passed away peacefully at Mill Creek Care Centre in Barrie Ontario on Friday, November 20th, 2015 at the young age of 68. Loving wife of the late Donald Legge, beloved mother of Michael Legge and Jacqueline Jesso. Proud Grandmother of Anthony, Emily, Connor and Megan. Sister of Diane Tugwell and Donna Heimstra.
Karen grew up and was educated in Newmarket Ontario. She enjoyed an early retirement which gave her and Don the opportunity to travel the world (New Zealand being her favourite). Karen will be remembered by family and friends as always putting others before herself. She never complained about anything, cherished the times she spent with family and friends and lived life in the moment. The family would like to thank the staff at Mill Creek for their personal attention to Karen’s needs and wishes. They are all truly heroes. Karen's kindness will be truly missed by all.
Friends may call at Roadhouse and Rose funeral home, 157 Main Street Newmarket Ontario on Tuesday November 24th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and Wednesday 12-1pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday, November 25th at 1pm. Followed by interment at Newmarket cemetery. Refreshments will be served at Roadhouse and Rose following the interment. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
