Passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritan Seniors’ Complex in Alliston on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in her 90th year. Loving wife of the late Garnet Orton. Beloved mother of Jim and his wife Sheila, Reverend Debra, Jay and his partner Brit Lowes. Daughter of the late Edwin R. and Charlotte Jefferis. Survived by sisters Lois and Wanda. Predeceased by siblings Doris, Helen, Allen and Jim and brother-in-law Horace. Special aunt to Amber and Don of Uxbridge, Nancy and Stan Cook and family of Newfoundland and many other nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered by extended family members.
