Philip Long
July 9th, 1929- June 15th, 2016

Philip Long passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on June 15th, 2016 at the age of 86. He is survived by Mary, his loving wife of 56 years. Philip is lovingly remembered by his daughter Joanne, granddaughter Mackenzie and grandson Phillip.
He is predeceased by his son Phillip, sister Joan Pridham, brothers Earnest, Reginald, Fred and Ron Long.
Philip was born in Sandhurst, England in 1929. He immigrated to Canada at the age of 17. The majority of his work career was with Bell Canada and The Bank of Montreal.
A caring, loyal, compassionate, and loving family man, Philip will be deeply missed by his family and friends. An avid lawn bowler, he was a member of the Newmarket Lawn Bowling Club and was President/Vice President of both indoor and outdoor clubs for several years.
