Condolence From: Susan McEwen (Yake)
Condolence: Myrna and Peter,
So many years have past since we were all kids sitting on the floor in your living room playing Monopoly (and Peter cleaning up). When I think of your parents, I remember how very much I felt welcome and a part of their day whenever I visited. I think their faces should be in the dictionary beside the word "loving". I remember their laughter and genuine concern for anyone they met. Your Mom's voice is in my heart and you will be there in heartfelt prayers.

Condolence: Our family moved next door to Mr and Mrs Joshua in 1971. I was three years old. Two of the loveliest people I have ever known. My heart broke when I heard the news of Mrs Joshua’s passing. She was so kind to me. In all the years that we lived there, even after I was grown and moved out. She never forgot my birthday and would call out the door to me to give her best wishes. I am so grateful for her friendship with my parents as well. She would always visit and check on them as the years passed giving all of us peace of mind that they were not alone if they needed assistance. Mrs Joshua was our neighbor and friend but I know I can speak for all of us when I say she was family. She will be dearly missed.
