CHEESEMAN, John Philip
(August 8, 1938 – July 30, 2018)

Passed away on Monday July 30, 2018 surrounded by his family and loved ones. He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years, Doreen (nee Meddick) and a daughter Debbie Modrovsky (Steve) and a son Peter (Joelle Plante). He will be sadly missed by all of his grandchildren; Amanda, Michael, Denise, Katherine and Tina. He is survived by his two brothers; Raymond (Dawn) and Eric and predeceased by his brother Richard (Margaret) who reside in England. John worked for Ontario Hydro and retired in 1993. The family wishes to thank the Palliative Care Team and Supportive Care, and especially the overnight R.N. Pauline from Southlake Regional Health Centre for taking good care of John and making his final days more comfortable. Friends and family are welcome to the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket for a visitation on Tuesday August 7, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. A private family service will take place on Wednesday.
