Paul was a year older than me and such a physical guy, that when it came to throwing a baseball hard, he could be very intimidating, even in grade 8. So, when he was in this 'throw it hard mood', and it was my turn to catch them, I made sure that he stood back at second base, before I would volunteer as the catcher.

No batter was required as there were no volunteers. It was just a throw it hard contest and he was by far the best.
