Hi. my name is Kathy Miller and I started at Sears Prince George in August of 1981. I honestly can't remember what year Bill came as our new store manager - sometime in the 80's, I'm sure. He arrived around September and we was sure nice enough. We had a Halloween dance and of course we all came in a costume, that is all except Bill and his wife, whose name escapes me {please forgive me} .It was the second dance, and the floor was hopping, Bill was dancing, then he did the most amazing thing, he started to undress. Yup, off came his shirt .....then his pants and everyone formed a circle around him and started to clap. He got down to blue tights, and red briefs with a big S. Then his wife took his cape out of her bag and tied it around his neck, Not to be outdone by Bill, she took a huge witch's hat and black cape out of the same bag and she became a beautiful witch. Well, what can I say, he became the life of the party and everyone fell in love with him right then and there. He was the best manager I had in my 34 years with Sears and I am terribly sad he has passed. He was lots of fun but also fair, and his wife was a real treat to have as a customer. Bill I will raise my glass up to you and know that this coming Halloween you will be the newest Superman in heaven. May you rest in peace.
Kathy Miller
