At home in Newmarket on Thursday December 17, 2009 at the age of 83 years. Arthur Thornton, dear father of Jane Thornton-Donaldson and her husband John of Orillia and John Thornton and his wife Sandi of Queensville. Proud grandfather of Michael, Sarah, Devin, Liam and Alina. Arthur will be sadly missed by his wife Jennifer Schofield and her daughters Sarah and Marie and their children Samantha, Grayson, Christine and Travis. Friends may call at the Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Tuesday from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 1 p.m. followed by cremation.
