HOLMAN, David Charles – Peacefully at home with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006, at the age of 64. David Holman Sr., beloved husband of Jackie (Mary) of 44 years, and father of Sandra, David (Judie) and Nancy (Kevin Paine). He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Eric, Veronica, Kalinda, Reilly and Owen, and his extended family, Mary, Toni, Bernie and Lee. He is survived by his mother Evelyn Holman and predeceased by his father John Holman. Dave was a long time employee of the Town of Newmarket and is loved by his many brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, friends and the family pet Teddy. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, on Friday, November 24th, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25th. A memorial service will take place in the chapel on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in memory of David, may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Arthritis Society.
