IRVINE, Dorothy Isabel (nee Sandford) - On
Tuesday evening, January 9, 2007, in her
84th year, Dorothy passed away peacefully
at Aurora Resthaven with her daughters by
her side, sharing her final moments. Beloved
mother of Janet Irvine (Gil) and Susan
Cartner. Predeceased by husband, Morley
I r vine and sons, Ross and Tom. A l s o
predeceased by her sister Evelyn Workman
and brother George Sandford. Loving
grandmother of Brad Cartner and Melanie
Green (Thomas). Great grandmother of
Marin Green. A memorial service will be held
at the Trinity United Church, 461 Park Ave.,
Newmarket on Saturday, January 20, 2007
at 11 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
Interment will take place at Aurora Cemetery
at a later date. Thanks to Palliative Care of
York Region and to the caring staff at Aurora
Resthaven. In lieu of flowers, donations to
the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Lung
