Life Story for Edward TURNER

TURNER, Edward Dorwen - Died peacefully,
at MacDonald House in Holland Landing, on
Saturday, February 17, 2007, 2 days before
his 93rd birthday. Loving husband to Rose
(nee Quintieri, predeceased). Much loved
father to Janice King (Dan), Michele Smith
(Greg), and Kevin (Cherl). Proud grandpa of
Mallory and Samantha. Uncle Ed to many.
Predeceased by sister Bernice. Brother of
Jack. Son of the late Ellen and Dorwen
Turner. Ed, retired for many years in the
"coffee & tea" business at the age of 63. He
was an avid reader and in earlier times loved
fishing, golfing and cottage life. Friends may
call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral
Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket
on Thursday, February 22nd from 10-11:30
a.m. with service at 11:30 a.m. followed by
interment at Park Lawn Cemetery, Toronto.
Special thanks to Michele and Greg, with
whom Ed lived happily for many years, and
to Marguerite and her staff at MacDonald
House for their dedicated care during the
last 16 months of Ed's life. In lieu of flowers,
the family would appreciate, donations to
Southlake Regional Health Centre.
