Vokes, Frederick Arthur (Art) – (Town of Newmarket Employee for 25 years) Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Tuesday October 26, 2010 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Mable Margaretta (Greta) for 61 years. Loving father of Brenda (Mrs. Paul Carey) and cherished grandfather of Lisa. Survived by his sister Emma Croutch, his sister-in-law Betty and his brother-in-law Duff Sedore. Predeceased by his brothers Alfred and Mac and his sisters Irene and Ina. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. South, Newmarket for visitation on Friday October 29th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday October 30th at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Queensville Cemetery.
