Life Story for George Francis KINMOND

KINMOND, George Francis – Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday January 6, 2006 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket in his 91st year. Devoted and beloved husband of Muriel and loving father to Linda and her husband Ken. Proud grandfather of Melissa and Joanna and great-grandfather of Jade. Loving brother-in-law to Helen Bush and loving brother of Gordon (Edmonton, Alberta). Predeceased by his parents Margaret and John, sisters Jean and Margaret, brothers Graham, Russell and Jack, sister-in-law Kathleen, and brother-in-law William Gilbert (Bill). He will sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. George was a railroad engineer who worked for the Canadian National Railways in Pointe St. Charles, Montreal for 38 years and was a member of The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. A funeral service will take place at the Trinity United Church, 461 Park Ave., Newmarket, Ontario on Tuesday January 10th at 3 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Cremation to follow. Donations in lieu of flowers to Sick Children’s Hospital, Toronto, Montreal Children’s Hospital or Princess Margaret Hospital Cancer Foundation, Toronto would be greatly appreciated by the family.
