COCKBURN, Gordon Douglas - With heavy
hearts, the family of Gordon, announce his
peaceful passing on April 9, 2006 at the age
of 80. He will be sadly missed by his loving
wife Donna, his children, Sue (Warren),
Wayne (Lynda), Nancy (Alex), Bruce (Lorrie)
and his step-children Randy (Anne), Erin
(Stuart) and Glen. Cherished Papa of
Michael, Stephen, Leah, Adam, Ian, Claire,
Julie, Stewart, David, Jeffrey, Karlee, Ryan,
Claire and James. Loving brother of Donald
(Lois), and Douglas (Skip) and their families.
He was considered a gentleman by
everyone who knew him and we will miss his
gentle disposition, sense of humour and his
loving ways. He will live in our hearts
forever. Family and friends will be welcomed
at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home,
157 Main Street South, Newmarket on
Tuesday, April 11th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday,
April 12th at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's
Presbyterian Church, Bradford. The family
would appreciate memorial donations be
made to either the Heart & Stroke
Foundation, Southlake Regional Health
Centre Foundation (Cancer Care), or St.
John's Presbyterian Church. A special
thanks to all his nurses at Southlake
Regional Health Centre for all their care and
support during this difficult time.
